Update on TikTok Selling May Turn Things Upside Down!

At a time when the facts say that the sale of TikTok's activities in the US has become a foregone conclusion due to the increasing US pressure, and with many US technology companies beginning in serious negotiations to acquire the Chinese application, it seems that their developments will turn things upside down.

And since US President Donald Trump issued his executive order stressing the need to sell the Chinese video application TikTok to its activities on US soil, many American technology companies have rushed to enter into negotiations with the developer ByteDance, headed by the Microsoft and Walmart alliance in addition to Twitter and Oracle. .

And although ByteDance admitted that nothing might prevent Trump's decision to end its presence in the American market, it nevertheless started the procedures for filing a lawsuit against the administration of the US President claiming that the new decision is a political decision and not a security one, but it seems that a new decision is coming from China would make a big difference and could tip the scales in the issue of selling TikTok activities.

As new reports coming from China, citing the official Chinese news agency, indicated that the process of selling TikTok activities in the American territories requires the approval of the Chinese authorities before it becomes effective, as the matter, according to Beijing, is related to the export of Chinese technologies, and the same sources said that The Chinese Ministry of Commerce added 23 elements to the list of technologies concerned with this decision, and that the decision to acquire TikTok may take 30 days before obtaining an initial agreement by the Chinese authorities.
