Call of Duty tests console support

Since its launch on Android and iOS and since then, Call of Duty has managed to get 100 million downloads per week according to Sensor Tower, surpassing its rivals PUBG Mobile, Fortnite and Apex Legends. Shortly after its launch, Activision removed support for the controllers, causing extreme anger among the players.

Now, Activision has released an official statement saying it is testing console support and will be adding it soon. Based on feedback from the gaming community, Activision also said it was working on features such as more sign-in options, the ability to report cheaters and performance improvements in the next update, but did not provide a timeline for when.

Other updates that the company is working on and will be coming soon is the ability to use other ways to sign in, other than ways to exit and improve performance and more ways to report players who may use ways to scam in the game. As mentioned, console support was removed a few days after launch.

Call of Duty, the first shooting game developed by Tencent Games owned by TiMi Studios, managed to surpass 35 million downloads on Android and iOS combined, within days of launch - according to Activision statistics. As we also mentioned, the Sensor Tower report claimed that the game managed to collect 100 million downloads per week, beating its competitors. A previous report by Sensor Tower indicated that the game attracted more than 20 million players in the first two days, generating $ 2 million in player spending after launching in the United States, Europe, India and Latin America.
