We are a decade or less away from an official manned mission to Mars, you can now do exactly that, thanks to the agency Astroland, which begins through virtual training courses in addition to climbing classes / speleology. Once the training courses are complete, a team of 10 Astrolanders are provided with space suits to go to Ares Station, a fake colony in a Spanish cave.
This mission aims to replicate the harsh conditions and extreme isolation that will be common in the Red Planet, allowing research and experimenting with current techniques useful for future human colonies. Astrolanders will spend their time growing, cooking, and most importantly, exercising, to keep their bodies in good shape.
