US actor uses Deepfake to turn himself into celebrities (video)
It's scary to believe that in just a few years, we can watch full-length movies made entirely through artificial intelligence. Jim Meskimen collaborated with deepfake Sham00k to give us a preview of what imitation might be like using deepfake AI.
While Jim Meskimen voted, deepfake applied facial features to 20 celebrities, including George Clooney, Nicholas Cage, Colin Firth, Robert De Niro, Nick Overman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Robin Williams and George W. Bush.
Deepfake has improved dramatically since it became public, and as you'll see in the video below, it has begun to seriously erase the line between fantasy and reality. This short video took over 250 hours of work and required 1,200 hours of footage, 300,000 images as well as 1 terabyte of data to compile.
