Open Bionics develops a 3D artificial arm that grows with you
Designed by Open Bionics specifically using 3D scanning and printing techniques, the industrial arm is the first medically certified industrial arm. It uses multiple sensors to enable the wearer to control the hand, with vibrations, sounds, lights and bright lights for easy operation.
This arm also has muscle sensors that provide vibrant precision and multiple handles, while weighing less than 2.2 lbs, meaning it is suitable for anyone over eight years old. They are available in a variety of models and sizes to suit adults and children, with interchangeable covers. It is currently available through prosthetic clinics in the UK, US and France.
