Microsoft has accused Iran of involvement in cyber attacks against US citizens, including officials, politicians, journalists and some Iranian dissidents living abroad.
Microsoft announced through its specialized center Microsoft Threat Intelligence Center that the State of Iran and through a group of hackers named Phosphore launched a series of cyber attacks amounted to 2700 attacks.
According to Microsoft, the cyberattacks carried out by the hackers group Phosphore lasted between August and September, and according to the level of cyber operations carried out, Microsoft confirms that it is a group supported by official bodies in Iran.
